GOVT TO SAVE K4.7BN-MSISKA

Government is expected to save over 4 point 7 Billion kwacha, after it implements all austerity measures including the withdrawal of the motor vehicle replacement allowance.
And Secretary to Cabinet Roland Msiska says the withdrawal of the allowance is part of the austerity measures that government is undertaking.
Dr. Msiska says the move will greatly help reduce the cost of running government.
He was speaking when he featured on ZNBC’s Special Interview programme called PLUGGED IN.
Dr. Msiska further said reports that Cabinet Ministers have been awarded One hundred Percent salary hike are not true.
And Dr. Msiska has appealed to Zambians to avoid issuing inflammatory statements that can negatively affect the economy.
He said he runs an Open-Door policy and anyone that needs information is free to visit his office.
