Nais-Fisheries and Livestock Minister, MAKOZO CHIKOTE, says government is in the process of revamping fisheries and livestock market centres across the country to provide linkages between buyers and sellers.
Mr. CHIKOTE says the move will not only guarantee market to the farmers but will also promote domestic trade,value addition and increase exports.
The Minister said this in Mazabuka today during the Annual Exhibition for Southern Province and the Launch of the Fisheries and Livestock Market Days.
Speaking at the same event, Chief NALUBAMBA, of Namwala District urged government to take stock of infrastructure in the agriculture sector, in different parts of the country, in order to promote growth.
