Govt to construct dams to harvest rain

Government will this year embark on the construction of dams countrywide to harvest water and mitigate the impact of the drought.

Green Economy and Environment Minister COLLINS NZOVU says the dams will harvest rain water which will help in irrigation and domestic use.

He said this when a delegation from the Catholic Relief Services paid a courtesy call on him at his office this morning.
Mr. NZOVU urged developed countries to ease accessibility to the Loss and Damage Fund so that Zambia can invest in projects that will benefit people.
