Govt should heed to demands by CSOs to release the refined draft constitution

University of Zambia (UNZA) Political Science Lecturer, Dr. Alex Ngoma has appealed to the government to heed to demands by the Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to release the refined draft constitution.

Dr. Ngoma tells QTV News that it is important that government listens to these demands as CSOs represent the voice of the voiceless.

He says the release of the refined draft constitution will allay fears that it has been tempered with and will also allow for the scrutiny of the document.

Meanwhile Dr. Ngoma has advised leaders of CSOs to desist from being partisan in the execution of their mandate.

He says the civil society should ensure they represent the views of the people they represent and not otherwise.
