Govt launches Arts and Film Policy

The Government has launched the National Arts and Film Policies aimed at strengthening Arts education, skills training and financing.

Speaking during the launch, Youth, Sport and Arts Minister ELVIS NKANDU said the policies will help build an economically viable sector that will contribute to the country’s Gross Domestic Product-GDP.

Mr. NKANDU said the creative Industry has the potential to create employment opportunities that can benefit the youths.

He said the two policies affirm the Government’s commitment in the developing  sector.
