Small and Medium Enterprises Development –SMED- Minister ELIAS MUBANGA says Government appreciates the role the Private Sector plays in advancing economic development.

Speaking during the Zimbabwe – Zambia Business Forum and Launch of the CEO Africa Roundtable Zambia Chapter, Mr. MUBANGA said the private sector is an engine for economic development.

Mr. MUBANGA said Government’s agenda of reconstructing the economy is anchored on private sector participation.

And Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Zambia CHARITY CHARAMBA said the expansion of the organisation is key in broadening trade and investment between Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Meanwhile, CEO Africa Roundtable Chairperson OSWELL BINHA said Zambia offers a viable business environment for establishment and operation of CEO Africa Zambia Chapter.

And CEO Africa Roundtable Zambia Chapter Interim Chairperson CHARLES NAKHOZE said the Chapter will work at advancing economic development across Africa.
