Govt improving access to clean water-VEEP

Vice President Inonge Wina says Government is working at improving access to clean drinking water and sanitation services in the country.
Mrs Wina says this is aimed at addressing problems that come because of people not having access to clean and safe drinking water.
The Vice President says government welcomes the United States of America’s decision to invest in this sector through the Millennium Challenge Account Zambia.
Mrs. Wina says once complete the project will see several people in Lusaka have access to clean drinking water and sanitation services.
She said this when MCC Principal Deputy President Kyeh Kim called on her at her Office.
And Ms Kim thanked government for supporting the project.
She said government should find ways of sustaining the project if people are to benefit from the project.
