GOVT IMPRESSED WITH LUSAKA DECONGESTION PROJECT

Government is impressed with the quality of roads being constructed under the Lusaka Decongestion Project (LDP).
Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development Ronlad Chitotela is confident that the roads which are expected to be completed in the next 36 months will have a long life span.
Mr Chitotela says that once the project is done, Government will in 20 years’ time expect Lusaka to be a model city characterised by free-flowing traffic.
He said this in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka.
Mr Chitotela has since warned against shoddy works and has urged local contractors to ensure they do not compromise on quality once given an opportunity to serve.
