Gift Siame joins CD Legañes 

Gift ‘Kanoute’ Siame has joined Club Deportivo Legañes from newly promoted MTN Super League side Atletico Lusaka, the club has confirmed. 

The midfielder will play for the Legañes U20 team as part of his development. 

Kanoute joined Atletico Lusaka in 2021 from Sports in Action. 

“Atletico Lusaka is pleased to announce that Gift Siame has signed with Club Deportivo Legañes. 

He will be joining their U20 team, and we extend our best wishes for his future career endeavours.”

Siame is excited to start a new journey in Spain and has thanked his former side Atletico Lusaka. 

“I am thrilled to embark on a new chapter in my career and life by signing in Spain. My gratitude extends to Atletico Lusaka and my agent, Nir Karin, for their invaluable support in helping me achieve my dream,” he said. 

The move was facilitated by Israeli agent Nir Karin who believes Siame will excel in Spain.

“I am delighted for Siame and confident that he will excel. It is a proud moment for Zambia to have another player in one of Europe’s top five leagues. With more Zambian players in Europe and the support of the Zambian football community, I believe Chipolopolo will achieve greatness again”.
