GEORGE KAWATU sworn in as Emoluments Commission Chairperson

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says civil servants remuneration should reflect justice and NOT vary among those who perform equal and similar duties.

President HICHILEMA has also directed the Emoluments Commission to ensure civil servants are remunerated in accordance with their work output.

The Head of State was speaking when he swore in GEORGE KAWATU as Emoluments Commission Chairperson.

The President also swore in LEVY PHIRI as Documentarist at Cabinet Office.

And President HICHILEMA expressed concern with the growing culture of some Civil Servants working in isolation.

The Head of State said working in isolation derails progress in the Civil Service.

President HICHILEMA further urged the new appointees to immediately consider building teams to promote teamwork in work places.
