Frank Nuttall keen on Zanaco top job

Scottish coach Frank Elliot Nuttall is keen on the head coach position at Zambia Super League side, Sensational Zanaco the ZamFoot Crew understands.

A source close to Nuttall told the ZamFoot Crew that the former Zamalek SC boss wants to take up the challenge at Zanaco.

“Yes it’s true he is keen on taking up the challenge. I feel its time he came to Zambia and he is an ardent follower of the league there so he understands the Zambian football scenery, ” The source said.

“He already sent his credentials to the people at Zanaco so we wait and see how it goes.”

Nuttal who holds a UEFA Pro coaching license was very successful in Kenya winning the Kenyan Premier League in 2014 and 2015 with Gor Mahia.

Nuttall also had stints in Europe as a fitness coach for Scottish outfit Rangers between 2004 and 2006 and English side Middlesbrough between 2008 and 2009.

He was also a Sporting Adviser for the China PR national football team between 2010 and 2012.

The Bankers sent head coach and first assistant Mumamba Numba and Kelvin Kaindu respectively on administrative leave on Monday following a string of poor results.
