Four injured in a hiace minibus crash in Mazabuka, police say

FOUR people have sustained serious injuries after a Hiace Minibus which they were on overturned at Mazabuka Motel along the Great North Road.
The accident happened on Saturday around 04:00 hours involving a Toyota Hiace minibus registration number ACT 9997 which was being driven by Mwansa Mwila aged 24 of Kabobola extension in Mazabuka.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo in a statement said the accident happened when the driver of the same bus lost control due to excessive speed and later careered off the road and overturned.
She said due to impact, the driver and three passengers identified as Gilbert Matiketi aged 23 of  Mazabuka, George Mutinta aged 22 Of Kabobola extension and Francis Moyo aged 20 of Matero in Lusaka sustained serious injuries and are all admitted in Mazabuka Hospital.
