Forest Rangers appoint Tenant Chembo as first assistant coach

Zambia Super League side, Forest Rangers have appointed former Buildcon, Mufulira Wanderers, Lumwana Radiants, and ZESCO United coach Tenant Chembo as the new assistant coach.

According to a statement by Forest Rangers Media and Public Relations Officer, Christina Zulu and availed to the ZamFoot Crew, Chembo has penned a two-year deal.

“Forest Rangers Football Club has appointed Mr. Tenant Chembo as new Assistant Coach for the next two years, effective immediately.

The former Lumwana Radiants coach has joined Forest Rangers technical bench with vast experience having worked with other Super Division Teams like Zesco United and Buildcon FC among others.”

Chembo will work closely with Coach Owen Kaposa who is the second assistant. The Club has challenged Coach Chembo to help the team in qualifying for the ABSA Cup and Continental competition after the end of the 2021/222 soccer season.

“We are happy to have hired a very qualified assistant coach in Mr. Tenant Chembo. We have faith in his abilities and we know he will do well with our club,” Club Secretary Wisdom Musonda said during a press briefing today July 28, 2021.

The club would like to officially welcome Mr. Chembo to Forest Rangers FC and wish him all the best as he conducts his duties.
