Mr. Foote states that in leveraging partnerships for sustainability in ending AIDS, the US government however remains a committed partner of the Zambian government.

He was speaking shortly before he officially handed a donation 6 brand new utility vehicles valued at US$225, 000 to the Ministry of Health in Lusaka.

And speaking before the handover ceremony, Minister of Health Chitalu Chilifya thanked the US government for the kind gesture.

Dr. Chilufya says this support from the US government is a milestone in the accelerated response of the Zambian government against the HIV epidemic.

He says the donated 6 vehicles will help government fast track efforts to attain the Country’s 90–90–90 targets.
