Football house will be closed to the public temporarily as part of the Football Association of Zambia’s adherence to the ministry of health’s advice on prevention of the Coronavirus pandemic.
According to a press statement by FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala made available to the ZamFoot Crew, Football house will be closed until further notice but high ranking Secretariat officials will be available to the members as they continue working from their homes.
“The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and continues to observe the safety guidelines given by the Government. Our first priority is the continued safety of our employees and officials of all member clubs.
Public health officials continue to advise that social distancing is the most effective strategy to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As such, Football House will be closed to the public including walk-ins, until further notice.”
FAZ had earlier limited the number of employees who reported on a daily basis before closing shop temporarily.
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak which has now reached 39 positive cases with one death, All Football related activities in the country have been postponed until further notice.
