FISP REACHES KANCHIBIYA, MPIKA

Farmers in Kanchibiya and Mpika Districts have started receiving farming inputs under the Farmer Input Support Program, FISP.

Mpika District Marketing Development Officer, Charles Simukoko confirmed this when Neria’s Investments Limited General Manager Martin Chaikatisha visited the Mpika depot.

Mr. Simukoko said the District is well stocked with inputs.

Meanwhile, farmers have hailed government for the early and timely distribution of inputs.

Speaking on behalf of the farmers, Chavuma Cooperative Chairperson Wilson Mwase said the early distribution of inputs is a clear indication that government is concerned about the welfare of farmers.

And Neria’s Investments Limited General Manager Martin Chaikatisha has assured farmers in the Province that the inputs are already in depots.
