FIRST LADY RECEIVES VENTILATORS
By Ruth Chayinda- First Lady Esther Lungu says she is determined to continue uplifting the lives of people especially those in rural areas.
Mrs. Lungu says the Esther Lungu Foundation Trust, working with various partners, will continue to serve rural areas where they lack facilities and equipment.
She said this when she received five ventilators donated by Savenda at State House today.
Mrs Lungu thanked Savenda for the donation, saying her Trust will take the ventilators to needy places.
She said the portable ventilators will be able to assist patients especially in rural areas because they are able to work with batteries.
Mrs. Lungu said she appreciates the cordial working relations between the foundation and Savenda.
And Savenda Group Director for Special and Medical Projects Norman Brown disclosed that the company will soon start the manufacturing of ventilators locally.
