FAZ Supremo comforts Chipolopoloo boys after Ivory Coast loss

The Chipolopolo Boys concluded their 3 games friendly tour of North Africa recording 1 win and 2 losses. The Copper Bullets were handed a huge 4-1 bashing by Ivory Coast on Wednesday after giving up a one-goal lead.

Football Association of Zambia President Andrew Kamanga watched the match played in Abu Dabhi and was on hand to offer words of encouragement to the Players and technical bench.

“Since we not participating in the upcoming afcon, we had to take advantage of the friendly invites to prepare for the next AFCON qualifiers. We have missed 2 Africa Cup Of nations (2017 and 2019) giving an opportunity to work extra hard and participate in the next tournament in 2021,” he said.

Kamanga went on and thanked the players for the commitment and asked for continuity in professionalism and edged them to stay competitive. On the issue of friendly games, Andrew Kamanga assured the team of more games as both the executive and the technology will do everything possible to organize such high profile games for the team growth and Consistent Momentum.
