FAZ Extends Sven’s Contract

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has extended Chipolopolo coach Sven Vandenbroeck’s contract beyond his five game mandate that was tied to Africa Cup of Nations qualification.

Vandenbroeck was hired on a 10-month contract in July with the specific task of qualifying Zambia to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations which he has since failed.

The FAZ Executive Committee meeting on Saturday gave the coach a 12 month extension.

Vandenbroeck took over from Wedson Nyirenda whom the public had wanted out but have extended the same hostility to the Belgian.

Decision is gud but give him chambeshi as vice so dat he shud not substituting prayers into 85th min, tell him also to listen to advices from soccer fan like pastor makembo. If not so, the earlier he came, the faster he,ll go……
