FAZ Disciplinary Committee rules in favor of Zanaco…Three points and three goals for the Bankers

Sensational Zanaco Football Club has been awarded 3 points and 3 goals from the unplayed match against Forest Forest Rangers Football Club by the FAZ Disciplinary Committee.

According to a letter to Zanaco by FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala accessed by the ZamFoot Crew, The Disciplinary Committee who tabled the matter on Monday, 27th July, The Bankers claim of three points had merit and hence they have been awarded.

The Disciplinary Committee has considered all written evidence adduced by both parties before it, was satisfied beyond a reasonable doubt that your claim for the three points for this match had merit and therefore in accordance with Article 109 and 77 of the FAZ Disciplinary code, ruled as follows :


Your club is awarded the three points with a 3-0 scoreline.

Forest Rangers clash with Zanaco failed to take off on 18th July after Fole Malembe claimed they had 28 positive cases of COVID-19 hours to kick off.

Zanaco turned up at the Stadium for the match and even Forest Rangers did before the Ndola Provincial Health department came in and advised against the match taking off.

The ruling means the Bankers move up to 6th place with 42 points and just 3 points adrift of the top four places.
