Fashion Sakala expected to start for KV Oostende

Zambian Forward Fashion Sakala is expected to be in action this evening when KV Oostende takes on Sint-Truiden VV in a week 3 Belgian Jupiler Pro League encounter at Stayen.

Sakala has been named in coach Alexander Blessin’s 18 member squad for the match.


The ‘Show-man’ is expected to make his first start of the seasons for the KustBoys who is need of a win after failing to pick any point in their first two games of the season.

The 23-year-old will start either alongside Senegalese forward Makhtar Gueye or Marko Kvasina upfront.

The KustBoys are without defender Brecht Capon, Frederik Jäkel, and Midfielder Nick Bätzner who are all out injured.

The Kustboys have not been very successful at Stayen in recent seasons and the last time they managed to pick up a point was in the 2015-2016 season. They have lost in all their last visits to Sint-Truiden.

Kick-off for the match is at 20:45 central African time.
