Fashion, Klings start against Ivory Coast

Zambia Under-23 coach Beston Chambeshi has made two changes for this afternoon’s friendly match against Ivory Coast in Abu Dhabi.

The match will kick off at 14h30

With Moses Nyondo and Ziyo Tembo still out injured, South African based midfielder Salulani Phiri will start in central defence alongside Kabaso Chongo.

Shemmy Mayembe and and Kebson Kamanga will continue as right and left full back respectively.

Chambeshi has gone for his trusted 4-3-3 with Enock Mwepu and Emmanuel Banda forming a midfield triumvaret with new kid on the block Klings Kangwa.

Upfront Patson Daka is expected to move more central having operated on the left wing in the 3-2 win over Morocco.

Patson was involved in all the three goals in Marakech.

Fashion Sakala will return to the side at the expense of Musonda Mwape.

Mwape has banged in 2 goals in as many games.

Augustine Mulenga will operate from the right wing.
