Expedite avenue works-Chitotela

Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Model Ronald Chitotela has directed China Harbour Engineering, the firm working on the Kawambwa -Mporokoso avenue to expedite constructing works on the 1-hundred and Forty two-million Dollar project.
Mr. Chitotela says the contractor needs to bustle up work on the 1-hundred and 22- kilometer avenue since the constructing window is proscribed.
The Infrastructure Minister says he expects the contractor to work on now not less than 10 kilometers of the avenue sooner than the onset of the rains.
Mr. Chitotela talked about this in Kawambwa District when he inspected works on the avenue.
And project consultant, Andosa Consulting, talked about work on the avenue appears late because the contractor has now not fully mobilised attributable to delays in getting a tax clearance exemption certificate.
Andosa consulting resident engineer William Makoni talked about the extend to receive the tax clearance certificate has resulted in the contractor’s equipment to be marooned in Tanzania and Kenya.
