THE past is in your head and the future is in your hands. Don’t let what you can’t change control what’s in your hands. You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love and thrive in it. If you don’t sacrifice for what you want, what you want becomes the sacrifice.
Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you don’t have. But remember that what you now have was once among things you hoped for. When you are happy you enjoy the music, but when you are sad, you understand the lyrics. The power of association teaches us to be careful about the people we interact with. Remember, friends will never leave you the same; either they make you or they break you. Choose people who challenge you and empower you to be the best of yourself. It doesn’t matter who hurt you, or broke you down. What matters is who made you smile again.
True happiness comes from within, not from someone else. Don’t make the mistake of waiting on someone or something to come along and make you happy. Don’t choose the one who is beautiful to the world; choose the one who makes your world beautiful. Sometimes God allows some people to leave your life for your own protection. Some people seems good from outside but they are dangerous to your destiny. When people leave your life, it means your levels are changing and God is lifting you higher. There is a little room for many at the top and that’s why some of your friends dropped off!
