“EQUAL ACCESS TO EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN”

Government says it is determined to ensure children have equitable access to education.
Minister of General Education, David Mabumba says government will endeavor to promote the participation of all learners without exception.
Mr. Mabumba was speaking when he officially opened the 2018 Joint Annual review meeting in Lusaka.
And, Cooperating Partners Representative Noala Skinner hailed the government for its efforts to reduce the teacher pupil ratio by recruiting more teachers.
Ms Skinner said UNICEF is aware of the progressive strives government is making to better the education system in the country.
She said UNICEF will continue supporting in the realization of the education objectives as Stipulated in the 7th national development plan.
