ENTER NATIONAL PARKS ACCOMPANIED

Ministry of Tourism and Arts Permanent Secretary, Howard Sikwela, has appealed to the public to desist from entering national parks unaccompanied by wildlife officers.
Reverend Sikwela says it is not only an offence to enter a national park without authority but that it is also dangerous.
He says national parks are home to some animals that are dangerous hence the need to ensure that all visits to the areas are authorized.
Reverend Sikwela was speaking in an interview with ZNBC News in Livingstone.
He has also appealed to residents and holiday makers in Livingstone to formalize their visits to the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park to avoid loss of lives.
