Chipolopolo Boys forward Patson Daka will miss tonight’s UEFA Champions League group A clash between Redbull Salzburg and defending Champions, Bayern Munich due to injury.

Daka limped out of Redbull Salzburg’s 3-2 loss to Athletico Madrid in a UEFA Champions League Group A encounter just 29 minutes into the match which led him to miss three league matches, the 6-2 bashing at the hands of Bayern and Zambia’s back to back games against Botswana.

Salzburg confirmed on their website monitored by the ZamFoot Crew that Daka despite starting light training remains out with a muscle injury. French midfielder Antoine Bernede and Masaka Okugawa are also out with a shin and Adductor injury respectively.

“Antoine Bernede remains out (shin), Patson Daka is out with a muscle injury. Masaya Okugawa is ruled out with an adductor injury.”

Compatriot Enock Mwepu on the other hand is expected to start in midfield for the Austrian side that needs a win despite all the odds being against them.

Salzburg is bottom of group A with just a point to their name and needs to start winning games if they want to either make it to the next round or drop to the UEFA Europa League.

Salzburg and Bayern will square off at the Allianz Arena at 22:00hrs.
