Lusaka (31-03-19) Grizzly and Wolle Mining Limited Chief Executive Officer(C.E.O) Abdul Bah says the auction sale of emerald which was recently held in Lusaka was successful.
Bah told journalists at a media briefing held at Chrisma Hotel that the process of selling the emerald had a blessing of the law.
He assured the buyers to ignore claims by competitors that there will be a court action against any one who bought the precious minerals at the auction.
“Since there is no court order that was issued to stop the process, the people that bought the product will not be inconvenienced in any way.”
In any case, Bah said the court order from the United Kingdom (UK) only has an effect in the UK and not in Zambia.
The Grizzly And Wolle Mining Limited C.E.O warned the media to be responsible in their reporting.
He said verification is the media virtue which should be cherished all the time.
He said smear campaign aimed at destroying the business will not help the country’s economic advancement.
He said the Mining  company reserves the right to take legal action against media houses that wage smear campaign against it.
