Government says the Electoral Process Act and other Electoral Laws will be amended before the 2026 General Elections.
Justice Minister MULAMBO HAIMBE says the electoral laws will be amended to the credibility of polls.
Mr. HAIMBE was speaking in LUSAKA when United Nations -UN- Electoral and Political Officer MANSOUR SADEGHI and his delegation called on him at his office.
Mr. SADEGHI said the UN is committed to supporting various electoral reforms in ZAMBIA ahead of the 2026 General Election.
He said the UN needs to interact with ZAMBIA’s government to come up with the best practices in the quest to implement some electoral reforms.
