He said this in LUSAKA today during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding-MOU- between the EIZ and Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation -ZNBC.

The MoU will anchor on corporate relations between the two institutions that will see ZNBC highlight various services of EIZ to the general public.

And Mr .NG’ANDU says the EIZ is in the process of coming up with the minimum Charge Out Rate as the threshold on the payment of engineering services.

And EIZ Registrar and Chief Executive Officer DAVID KAMUNGU said the institution’s second report on state of infrastructure in the country comes on the backdrop of the first report released eight years ago.

Mr. KAMUNGU expressed optimism that the MOU between the two institutions will enhance public awareness of the EIZ.

And Acting ZNBC Director General BRIGHT NKANKA said the national broadcaster is a strategic institution to broadly highlight the services of EIZ.

Mr. NKANKA said already ZNBC is disseminating various programs on engineering innovations in the country.

He expressed optimistic that ZNBC will be equal to task in actualizing its corporate working relations with EIZ.
