ECZ Commends ZNBC

Electoral Commission of Zambia -ECZ- Chairperson Esau Chulu has commended ZNBC for its continued support to the commission during elections and other electoral processes.Justice Chulu says the National broadcaster has been instrumental in changing the negative perception of elections and building confidence in electoral process.Speaking after touring the ZNBC refurbished studios, Justice Chulu said the Commission will work with ZNBC in carrying out sensitization programs to raise awareness of the general electorate on their rights and responsibilities in the electoral process.He said with the wide viewership and respect ZNBC commands from Zambians, the commission is confident of achieving a positive result from the campaigns.Mr. Chulu also thanked ZNBC management and staff for their continued commitment in making the public aware of critical and accurate information that is of national development.And ZNBC Board Chairperson Mulenga Kapwepwe said the National Broadcaster is ready and equal to the task to work with the commission before, during and after the 2021 elections.Ms. Kapwepwe said ZNBC has invested massively in equipment that meets international standards and quality.
