ECL ATTENDS RAJOELINA INAUGURATION

President Edgar Lungu is among several African heads of state attending the Inauguration of the President of Madagascar Andry Rajoelina.
President Lungu is attending the ceremony in his capacity as chairperson of the SADC organ on defence, politics and security.
Thousands of people are witnessing the inauguration ceremony at Mahamasina stadium in the capital Antananarivo.
And speaking during the inauguration ceremony Mr. Rajoelina promised to unite the country and work for everyone.
President Rajoelina said he is determined to fulfill his campaign promises to the electorate.
President Lungu arrived in Madagascar at about 08:35 hours Zambian time.
He then proceeded to Mahamasina where he joined other leaders in witnessing the inauguration ceremony.
Mr. Rajoelina who is getting into office for the second time after serving as Madagascar’s President between 2001 and 2009 beat his closest rival Marc Ravalomanana after securing 55-point 6 percent of the votes.
