EAST GOLD PARTNERSHIP IN THE OFFING

By ZANIS:A partnership between Government and Magodi Auric Limited is targeting to empower over 2-hundred thousand artisanal gold miners in Eastern province, to produce about 4-hundred kilograms of gold per month.The Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement -IPPA- further projects to raise 3-point 6 billion US Dollars for investment in the artisanal mining sector across the country.Speaking during the provincial stakeholder engagement workshop in Chipata, Magodi Auric Limited Chairperson Alfred Lungu disclosed that the company will set up a jewelry academy in Chipata to facilitate skills in onsite jewelry production.
