Race to the Super League

We had mid-week games in all the zones last week with three walk overs recorded. One in Zone Four were Yeta failed to travel and one shocking two in Zone One Were City of Lusaka failed to travel to Petauke and Lundazi failed to travel to Kafue. Information reaching us is that City of Lusaka decided not to travel as they knew even a win would not change their position on the table. Now that’s shocking with 12 games to play.

National Assembly were held to a 2-2 draw with Riflemen but still maintain the top slot though it has been cut to one point after Young Green Buffaloes managed to get three points with a 2-0 victory against Petauke United.

The two teams should now start getting worried from the push that is coming from Police College who are in a seven game winning streak and they are just three points now from the league leaders.
