DISABLED PEOPLE ASSURED OF SUPPORT

By ZANIS:Government says it will take care of the needs of people living with disabilities.Community Development Minister Kampamba Chewe says people living with disabilities should not be discriminated by anyone.Mrs. Chewe said this when she distributed food stuff and assorted items to people living with disabilities at Dongwe centre in Kalulushi district.She said government will remain committed to providing relief food to people so that no one dies of hunger.Among the items distributed were over two hundred by 25 bags of breakfast mealie-meal and some boxes of dry fish.The minister who is also Kalulushi lawmaker, later donated an empowerment package to women groups in the area such as cooking oil making machines, and secondhand shoes.Meanwhile beneficiaries thanked government for the gesture saying the donations will greatly improve their way of life.
