DIRECT FLIGHTS TO CREATE JOBS-TOURISM COUNCIL

Tourism Council of Zambia Board Chairperson YOUSUF ZUMLA says the introduction of more direct flights into Zambia will create jobs and increase tourist arrivals.

Mr ZUMLA says more flights will also bring the cost of flights down.

He told ZNBC News that the start of direct flights to Lusaka by Mozambican Airline scheduled for June 30, 2023 is a great milestone as it will increase tourist visits to Zambia.

Mr ZUMLA also disclosed that there are some European airlines that are interested to start flying to Zambia.
