DIASPORA ZAMBIANS TOLD INVEST HOME

Zambian High Commissioner to Australia FRANK BWALYA has called on Zambians in diaspora to invest in property as a way of contributing to the country’s renewed economic development agenda.

Mr. BWALYA made the remarks during a virtual meeting with Diaspora Connect Chief Executive Officer NATASHA CHIUMYA.

He said buying property in Zambia is one way of injecting capital into the economy and contributing to the country’s economic recovery.

Mr. BWALYA said the UPND government is determined to accelerate economic development and create job opportunities especially for the young people.

Mr. BWALYA further call on Zambians to continue with the spirit of hard work and zero tolerance to corruption in line with the UPND manifesto.

Meanwhile, Mr BWALYA has since urged Zambian companies, especially small and medium enterprises, to develop strong partnerships with foreign and local investors.
