Dialogue Key to Resolving Contentions- HH

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says dialogue should take center stage in resolving contentious issues in the country.

President HICHILEMA says dialogue is key in addressing many challenges as opposed to demonstrations and use of inflammatory statements.

The Head of State says his administration will embrace dialogue in resolving issues as exhibited by late First Republican President KENNETH KAUNDA.

President HICHILEMA was speaking when a team from the Zambia Center for Inter-party
Dialogue-ZCID -Led by Chairperson JOYCE MUSENGE called on him at State House.

The President questioned why some political players do not embrace dialogue but rather choose to be antagonistic.

President HICHILEMA said he has called for a unity of purpose with the former ruling party to discuss the debt restructuring, but they opted to remain hostile over the matter.

Meanwhile, Ms. MUSENGE has praised President HICHILEMA on his efforts towards debt restructuring and reopening of the Mopani Copper Mine.

Ms. MUSENGE said she is looking forward to see the benefits trickle down to all Zambian citizens.
