The death toll in yesterday’s Great East Road Accident in Lusaka has risen to Twelve.
Ten victims died on the spot while two others died at LEVY MWANAWASA University Teaching Hospital.
LEVY MWANAWASA University Teaching Hospital Public Relations Officer, CHIZONGO SICHIWENA has confirmed to ZNBC News today that the death toll has risen to 12.
Ms. SICHIWENA has also disclosed one female accident victim is in a critical condition and still admitted to the intensive care unit.
He further disclosed that three male accident victims have been evacuated from the Intensive care unit to the surgical ward.
The Accident occurred yesterday on the Great East Road’s University of Zambia -UNZA- junction when a Hiace Minibus collided with a Zambia National Service -ZNS- Low bed truck.
