COVID-19: DMMU TO PROVIDE WATER TO ALL MARKETS

March 29, 2020March 29, 202047By Katwishi Bwalya:The Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit -DMMU- will start providing water in all markets as a measure to fight the spread of Covid-19.DMMU National Coordinator Chanda Kabwe says experts have already identified markets which have no access to water.Mr. Kabwe says 10 thousand liters of water tanks will be placed in major markets to improve sanitation in markets.The National Coordinator told ZNBC News that his office is working with Ministries of Local Government, Defence and Water.And Mr. Kabwe said DMMU will also provide water to areas where trucks have been marooned due to the closure of boarders.
