Court tells husband to stop using, “Mwana Apeluke”, (Sexual Booster) on his wife

A 29 – YEAR old woman of Lusaka has told the Chawama Local Court that she is tired of being treated like an animal in bed by her husband who uses ‘Mwana Apeluke’ sexual boosters in order to satisfy his sexual desires.

Martha Kunda, of Kabwata residential area sued Eric Kansambo, 35, a truck driver of Chilenje area for marriage reconciliation. The pair got married in 2009 and together they have two children. Bride price was paid.

Kunda told the court that problems in their marriage started on January 12, 2014 when Kansambo found a job as a truck driver at Choombe motors.

“The challenge we have your honour in our marriage is that my husband has developed this habit of bringing all sorts of these traditional sexual herbs boosters such as ‘mutototo branded as ‘Mwana Apeluke’ and demands for abnormal sex, ” she said.

She told the court that Kansambo has been threatening to deserts his matrimonial home if she ever discourages him from using sexual boosters.

She also told the court that her husband has stopped providing the welfare of his family adding that he was also in the habit of sleeping out of their matrimonial home.

“Last time I prepared Lunch for him but instead he refused to eat the food I prepared for him and for no reason, he started beating me with a broom stick right in my heard” She said.

However, she told the court that despite elders talking about the fate of their marriage, Kansambo has not changed.

But in his defense, Kansambo denied using sexual boosters and claiming that Kunda was telling lies.

“The sexual boosters she is talking about belonged to my friend Kelvin; he asked me to buy him those stuffs,” he claimed.

Passing judgment, Senior Court Magistrate Gaston Kalala reconciled the couple. He also cautioned Kasambo to immediately stop using sexual boosters, saying it will destroy their marriage.
