THE Kitwe High Court has ordered a medical examination to determine the age of one of the suspected Tokota gang members facing charges of kidnapping, poisoning and acts intended to cause grievous harm.Kitwe High Court judge-in-charge Timothy Katanekwa made the order yesterday after dissatisfaction with the age-related documents presented by the boy’s mother.
This is in a case legal aid board counsel Mwendalubi Kapukutula applied to the court to allow his client’s mother to take birth-related documents to prove that the boy is 15 and not 20 years old as indicated on the prosecution’s records.
