Cosafa U20: Junior Chipolopolo suffer defeat to Angola as Amajita thrash Malawi

Zambia Under-20 suffered a 3-1 defeat to Angola in their opening CAF U20 Cosafa qualifiers on Friday.

Amado Haidara converted from the spot in 28th minute to give the Young Palancas Negras a lead.

Three minutes later Simao Pedro increased the lead to a 2 goal caution.

Zambia coach Boyd Mulwanda substituted Aaron Simpasa for Benson Kapisha in the first half but to no avail.

After the break, Zambia pushed for goals as the Angolans defended deep.

Substitute Perkins Mwale pulled one back.

Angola grabbed the third goal against the run of play with quick transition football.

Meanwhile South Africa thrashed Malawi 5-0.
