Copper Queens to go into camp ahead of Olympic Qualifier

FIFA 2023 Women’s World Cup participants Zambia are set to into residential camp ahead of this month’s Paris 2024 Olympic Qualifier.

The Copper Queens will face Ghana in a two legged qualifier.

Zambia will host the Black Queens in the first leg on February 23, and five days later head to Accra for the return leg.

Ghana beat Benin 7-0 on aggregate to set up the mouth watering tie.

The Copper Queens qualified following the withdrawal of second round opponents Mali.

The winner between Zambia and Ghana will face the winner between Tunisia and Morocco/Namibia for a place at the Paris 2024 Olympics. 

Bruce Mwape’s side were Africa’s sole representative at the previous Olympics.
