Copper Queens midfielder eyes win in Botswana

Zambia Women’s national team midfielder Rhoda Chileshe is optimistic and confident that The Copper Queens will come out victorious over the Mares of Botswana in tomorrow’s Tokyo 2020 Olympics Qualifier 3rd round return match slated for Francistown Sports Complex to determine who progresses to the next round

Speaking in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew from Francistown, Botswana, Chileshe said her main target was to help the team win the match and she has promised to be on the scoresheet.

” I am expecting a lot in tomorrow’s game. The first thing a win and for myself am expecting to score a goal, ” she said.

In the first leg played last week at Lusaka’s Nkoloma Stadium, the Copper Queens missed a number of scoring Opportunities but the Indeni Roses Midfielder has said the team is very much ready for the match and has promised to score as many goals as they can.

“I promise we will score as many goals as we can we are very much ready for the game,” she said.

Zambia and Botswana will square off tomorrow evening at Francistown Sports Complex with Kick-Off at 19:00hrs to complete the 3rd round in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with the Copper Queens carrying a 1-nil victory over the Mares who will have all to play for especially in front of their home fans who are expected to turn up in numbers to support them.
