Copper Queens captain heads to Europe
Zambia Women National team captain Misozi Zulu will tomorrow travel to Europe to join country mate Rachel Kundananji at Kazakhstan giants BIIK-Kazygurt the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal. Zulu will travel to Russia before proceeding to Estonia.
The Indeni Roses forward who is nicknamed ‘CR7’ will join Kazygurt on a 5 months loan with an option to buy outright if she impresses ahead of renegotiations scheduled for December.
The Kazakhstan Champions want to use the Copper Queen’s Skipper for their UEFA women’s playoffs and have registered her already.
BIIK were drawn in group 6 of the 2019/20 UEFA Women’s Champions League alongside hosts Flora Tallinn of Estonia, PK-35 Vantaa of Finland and EBS/Skála of the Faroe Islands.
The ten qualifying group winners proceed to the 16 August draw for the round of 32, with the two-legged knockout phase commencing in September.
