Continuous Voter Registration suspended in 20 districts

The Electoral Commission of Zambia-ECZ- has suspended the Continuous Registration of Voters in 20 districts.

This is in order to facilitate for consolidation of the Continuous Registration of Voters records captured in 2023.

ECZ Corporate Affairs Manager PATRICIA LUHANGA has confirmed in a statement to ZNBC News today.

Ms LUHANGA says the suspension will be for a period 10 working days, from today February 26 to March 11th 2024.

Ms LUHANGA said during this period, all the 20 voter registration centres will be closed and will only reopen on Wednesday, 13th March 2024.
