COLLEGES GIVEN GO AHEAD

The Ministry of Total of Education has licensed all faculties of education countrywide to proceed with the recruitment of teachers for the 2019 intake following the low flip for applicants in the August trainee interviews.
Ministry of Total Education Eternal Secretary for Technical Companies Henry Tukombe says nearly all faculties countrywide failed to develop the well-known enrolment number for the 2019 intake due to the low turnout of applicants.
Fixed with a memo he issued to all faculties of education dated nineth September 2018, Mr Tukombe says he has granted authority to the faculties to proceed recruiting as much as thirty first December this twelve months in repeat for them to reach the well-known numbers.
Within the intervening time, Kitwe College of Education Most major Andrew Mutobo says the
faculty will quickly advertise and originate imposing the directive by the Eternal Secretary.
Dr. Mutobo says on common, the faculty recruits around 700 student teachers every twelve months but as of late, simplest 200 and fifty college students applied.
The Kitwe College of Education is the biggest recruiter of student teachers in the country among faculties of education.
