Coach welcomes COSAFA U-20 for Women

Zambia Under 20 Women’s National Football Team Coach Charles Haalubono says the introduction of the inaugural U-20 COSAFA Cup tournament will promote the development of woman football in the region. Haalubono who has been tasked to lead the Young Shepolopolo at the upcoming U-20 Women’s Cosafa Tournament in South Africa says the team’s target is to make it past the group stages. He told ZNBC News in an interview that the team is under pressure because they do not know what to expect from their opponents. The Green Buffaloes Women’s Coach said the team will put in their best so that they can win the trophy. Haalubono said the technical bench has assembled the best players for the competition which will run from August 1st to the 11th, 2019 in South Africa.  Zambia has been placed in group A alongside   Botswana, Tanzania and Eswatini in the U-20 COSAFA tournament.
