The COSAFA squad is waiting to play the final with Botswana while the Morocco bound squad is on their way to North Africa, A number of deserving players were snubbed in both squads.
In as much as both Aggrey Chiyangi and Beston Chambeshi picked very good teams for the COSAFA Cup and friendly games respectively.

Tanzania based midfield ace has been one of the best performers for the National team and it was a big surprise that the Simba player was left out of both the COSAFA Cup squad and the Morocco bound squad.
The Aggrey Chiyangi tutored side is a locally assembled one while Beston Chambeshi said the omission was to give the former Zesco United star some rest after a long and difficult season.
What is clear is that the fans would have loved to see Triple C in action as he remains one of the best creative players Zambia has and his combination with Enock Mwepu seems to be working well.
Evans Kangwa was a fringe player in the 2012 winning squad and was being groomed to take up the mantle from the likes of Chris Katongo and James Chamanga. However, coaches seem to be overlooking the former Nkana danger man.
The Russian based forward was a key member of the Arsenal Tula side that secured a place in next seasons UEFA Europa league. In the Russian top flight league, he played 25 games out of 30 scorings four goals ( all in big games) and setting up a few others.
Given his good season in Russia, one would feel Kangwa should have been part of the Morocco bound squad.
Emmanuel Mbola remains one of Zambia’s best if not the best left back. The 26-year-old has been putting in some good performances in Isreal with Ihoud Bnei Sakhnin and good have been a good addition to the Morocco bound squad.
The Red Arrows midfielder started the transitional league season on a slow note but he soon picked up and was a marvel towards the end of the season.
Katema made a great partnership with George Simbayambaya in the Airmen midfield helping them to a third-place finish narrowly missing on a CAF Confederation Cup slot. He surely could have sneaked in either Aggrey Chiyangi or Beston Chambeshi’s squad.
The Polish-based winger has settled well in a new league and could have used a national team call up to bond with his teammates ahead of future assignments.
